Al Ramirez US Senate Exploratory Committee Executive Summary Statement

The purpose of an exploratory committee is to test the political waters for a future federal election. It is an important and strongly recommended 1st step for someone who is considering running for federal office to allow them an opportunity to travel and poll the public so they can make an informed decision in becoming a successful candidate for federal office.

I have formed this United States Senate Exploratory Committee to prepare to enter into a campaign for US Senator from California in the Republican Primary in 2010 and challenge Barbara Boxer in November 2010 to become the US Senator from California for the 21st Century. I am preparing my formal announcement of candidacy in the very near future. As part of my decision to become a candidate I will be informing the proper election officials including the State of California Elections Department as well as the Secretary of the United States Senate of my decision and I will take all the neccessary steps to fullfill the obligations of candidacy. As part of the process of becoming an official candidate this exploratory committee will be converted into a United States Senate Campaign Finance Committee to fund my campaign for US Senator from California in the 2010 Republican Primary.

Over the next few months I will be continue to seek the public's opinion of my relevant experience and listen to their concerns in town hall and social networking settings to secure their support as well as soliciting donations for a successful run. I look forward to meeting, speaking and listening to as many loyal Republicans as possible and I am even more excited about my plan to recruit 1 Million NEW REPUBLICANS to help us Make California Special by electing a Republican United States Senator from California for the 21st Century. Now more than ever we need to stand up for what we believe in and the values that Make California Special. And remember it takes voting Republican to Make California Special. I look forward to your support and your contribution to my campaign so We Can Win in 2010.
